Bike Odyssey 2018 | Pindos Mountains in Greece

The Pindos Mountain range in Greece is the setting for “Bike Odyssey” – a unique bike race which is the toughest mountain bike race in Greece and one of the toughest in the world.

The race started in 2013 and registration for participating in the 2018 race is now open. The eight day race will take place between the 17th – 24th June.

The starting point of the race will be the village of Smixi in Grevena with the finishing line in the city of Nafpaktos, while the race will also pass through the regions of Grevena, Trikala, Evritania, Fokida and Aetoloakarnaia.

The route will run a total length of 620 km, and will pass through over 50 villages in the Pindos mountain range of Greece.

The race has eight stages and eight village-stations. Each stage of the race begins at the main square of one of the selected village-stations and ends at the main square of another.

There will be the following categories in the race and are as teams of two.

  • Overall
  • Men
  • Mixed
  • Women
  • Master Men
  • Senior Masters

Please note that a category is only formed once 10 or more teams have registered for the race. Participants of categories that would not be formed will be moced into alternative categories.
