Beautiful villa, kept in excellent condition in a little upscale quiet retreat destination in the south suburbs of Athens. We enjoyed the barbecue and had fun around the pool! Ada was the most amazing hostess!

Villa Mélia is a family run business located in a private community of exclusive villas in the most magnificent part of the Athenian Riviera.Right on the foot of the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio &only 100m away from a beautiful beach you will enjoy a peaceful environment featuring the special energy of the area.Only 20’to the port of Lavrio,40’ to the airport &60’ to the center of Athens &Acropolis,Villa Mélia is the perfect getaway destination in Attica.It has a surface of 350 sqm in 3independent floors and an occupancy up to 10quests. Generous balconies wt panoramic views to the sea &mountains. Natural stone &wood combined wt subtle tones of yellow and white blend perfectly with the theme of sun, sea &sand. The light &airy interior is cozy and charming. Wooden &marble floors, rich fabrics &warm colors &a selection of family owned antique furniture pieces. The villa is fully equipped with all new appliances. All units are air conditioned &feature TVs with satellite channels. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property &free private parking (for two cars) is available on site. Free toiletries &bed linens are also provided. Alarm &safety systems are in place.
The Villa is well fenced. All around there are yards wt lawn, trees &flowers. Large wooden pergolas host a sitting area &a very large dinning table made out of stone&marble. Right in frond of it there is a large pool with sunbeds &a large white umbrella. Right next to it there is the BBQ with a cooking counter.On the right there is the pool bathroom. This is the perfect place to take your breakfast in the morning or drink a glass of wine in the evening while enjoying breathtaking views, picturesque sights and some of the most spectacular sunsets in Greece. The BBQ enhances the aromas for a romantic dining experience under the stars, overlooking the private pool and taking in the mountain air. The soft white candle lights, comfortable couches under the pergolas and the fragrance of the flowers create an inviting magical ambiance!The Villa is just 3' walk to the beach that consists of three coasts side by side and a very special chapel. On the right of the Villa on the outside space there is a door that leads to a kids' playground and a basketball court. I am very discreet and I will be at your disposal whenever you will need me.
Our neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. Villa Melia is located in a community called Maistrali that consists exclusively of private villas. This community is located in the Southern vicinity of Athens at the foot of the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio. The Villa is close to transportation but I suggest renting a car for your comfort. The airport is a 40 minutes drive (36km) and the center of Athens & Acropolis is a 60 minutes drive (50km) from the Villa. The port of Lavrio is a 20 minutes drive (19km) and it would be a great opportunity to arrange boat trips to the nearest islands: Kithnos & Kea - Tzia, even for a day! The Temple of Poseidon, a monument of great archaeological interest, is only a 12 minutes drive (12km) from the Villa. Also only 9 minutes away (6,5km) is KAPE one of the most wonderful and less touristic beaches in Athens. The downtown of Palaia Fokaia is only a 7 minutes drive (6km) from the Villa. There you can find supermarkets, meat markets, bakeries, pharmacies, Atm, gas station etc. Near the Villa there are many great restaurants by the sea. Lastly, Saronida is only 15 minutes (12km) away from the Villa. There you will find many bars &restaurants.
