Athens, the capital city of Greece, is one of the most famous in the world. It is a city that has a history stretching back thousands of years, and is one that shaped the western world.

How do I travel to Athens ?

The majority of visitors to Greece will arrive by air at the Athens International Airport. From there visitors continue their journey to their destination, whether it be the Greek islands or mainland Greece. Where can I stay in Athens ?

The city is home to a huge selection of quality hotels and accommodation, both in the city and centre and also the coastal suburbs such as Paleo Faliro, Glyfada and Voula. For those who prefer the suburbs, there is an excellent public transport network so getting into the city centre is very easy.
