Το γήπεδο αυτό, έδρα του Ορφέα Λευκωσίας, βρίσκεται δίπλα ακριβώς από τα μεσαιωνικά Ενετικά τείχη της πόλης και την γραμμή αντιπαράταξης με τα Τούρκικα στρατεύματα κατοχής. Ελληνοκύπριοι στρατιώτες στο φυλάκιο παρακολουθούν τον αγώνα! This football stadium, home to Orfeas Nicosia club, is situated exactly by the medieval Venetian walls of Nicosia city and the line separating the Greek part of Cyprus from the area occupied by Turkish troops. Greek Cypriot soldiers at the guard-house are watching the game! note: I took this photo from the other end of the pitch where the fans are seated.
