Ferries to Patmos

Ferries to Patmos

With the Dodecanese island of Patmos not having an airport, the only way to reach the island is by sea. There are frequent ferry services to and from the island with connections to Piraeus in Athens, as well as to other nearby islands in the Dodecanese.

Ferries to the Greek islandsBlue Star Ferries operate connections between Patmos and Athens. There is also a slightly slower connection with ANEK lines between Patmos and Piraeus.

Dodekanisos Seawaves operate a catamaran service with Patmos and the islands of Lipsi, Leros, Kalymnos, Kos and Rhodes. You can read more about this service on the following link - http://www.12ne.gr/en

During the summer months you will find daily ferry services to and from Patmos, but during the rest of the year, the connections are much more limited. If you do plan on travelling during July and August, it is advisable to try and book your tickets in advance.
